Call for abstracts: AlgaeRevive international conference in Thessaloniki, 2–4 December 2026

How can algae contribute to cleaner waters and more sustainable agricultural production? The international scientific conference “Turning Green into Blue: Algae-Driven Innovation for Circular Greenhouse Production and Aquatic Sustainability” will bring together researchers, practitioners and stakeholders to exchange findings and discuss these applications.

The conference will take place on 2–4 December 2026 at the ELGO–DIMITRA Thermi campus in Thessaloniki, Greece, within the project AlgaeRevive (BSB00091): Harnessing Algae Power for Pollution Reduction and Blue Growth, supported by the Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme 2021–2027.

Discussions will cover algae-based approaches to ecosystem remediation, pollution reduction and sustainable blue growth, alongside their role in circular greenhouse production.

Call for abstracts

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit abstracts by 15 November 2026. Abstracts should include the title, author names and affiliations, keywords, and a concise description of the objectives, methodology and main results. Acknowledgements and references may also be included where relevant.

The conference language is English.
