Chlorella and pure water
Our recent research of Chlorella vulgaris, conducted at the Odesa State Agrarian University, revealed interesting biological effects. When Chlorella vulgaris is present in natural bodies of water, it is able to absorb heavy metals from the water, which has a significant impact on the ecological well-being of the biocenosis. Heavy metals can enter the water as a result of economic activity, for example, when industrial wastewater is discharged into the body of water. Therefore, the presence of Chlorella vulgaris in the water of a natural body of water contributes to its purification and also indicates the quality and safety of the water. If you see a pond with green water, it is most likely environmentally friendly. Our research is also supported by modern scientific publications.
