The AlgaeRevive project partner Tsotne Mirtskhulava Water Management Institute of Georgian Technical university will host its international conference from 28 to 30 May 2026 in the coastal city of Batumi, Georgia. The event will bring together scientists, policymakers, industry representatives, and environmental experts to discuss innovative, science-based solutions for water pollution reduction and sustainable Blue Growth in the Black Sea region.
A platform for science, innovation, and cooperation
The conference will serve as a key milestone for AlgaeRevive, providing a dedicated space to present project results, exchange knowledge, and explore future pathways for integrating algae-based solutions, environmental monitoring, and data-driven technologies into regional water management and policy frameworks.

About the AlgaeRevive project
AlgaeRevive – “Using Algae Energy for Pollution Reduction and Development of the Blue Strategy” – is an EU-funded initiative that promotes innovative and sustainable solutions to address water pollution. By combining the natural potential of algae with advanced monitoring technologies and scientific research, the project supports the development of a Blue Strategy that balances environmental protection, sustainable resource management, and economic development across the Black Sea basin.
